Follow This Pool Maintenance Checklist

• Test the water regularly: It’s important to test the pH, chlorine, and alkalinity levels of your pool water on a regular basis to ensure that they are within the appropriate range.
• Skim the surface: Use a skimmer net or automatic skimmer to remove debris such as leaves, bugs, and other debris from the water’s surface.
• Brush the walls and floor: Use a pool brush to scrub the walls and floor of the pool to remove algae or other buildups.
• Vacuum the pool: Use a pool vacuum to remove dirt and debris from the bottom of the pool.
• Clean the filter: Clean or replace the filter cartridges or grids as needed to ensure that the pool’s filtration system works properly.
• Check the water level: Make sure the water level in the pool is at the appropriate level, usually halfway up the skimmer.
• Add chemicals: Add chlorine or other chemicals to keep the water clean and clear.
• Check the equipment: Check the pool’s pump, filter, and other equipment regularly to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Cover the pool: Use a pool cover to keep debris out of the pool when it’s not in use and reduce evaporation.

Monthly Winter Maintenance:

PRICING: $275/month plus chemicals

Water Chemistry

Swimming pools need essential chemicals to maintain the health of the water, even throughout the winter. This will help protect the pool surfaces from stain and scale.

Water Level

Maintaining a proper water level during the winter is imperative. As it rains and snows, water levels may need to be adjusted. This will help prevent freezing damage to the tile and skimmers.

Includes:

• Test and adjust water balance as
• Add algaecide and replenish the floating chemical feeder, if necessary
• Partially remove pool cover and vacuum (Depending on pool style/weather)
• Inspect water level to maintain 12-18 inches below tile line.
• If the water level is too high, we pump it down to proper level.
• Blow pool deck and remove all debris from pool area.
• Inspect pool cover and other visible pool components to check for possible damage by debris (leaves, rocks, branches, Etc.)
• Patch or replace water bags, replace anchors, straps, or springs as necessary (parts needed is an extra charge).
• Check on the main pump, Polaris pump (if available), heater, filter to make sure winterization was effective.

Weekly Service Agreement:

PRICING: Starting at $155/week plus chemicals

• Pool vacuumed as needed
• Pool surface skimmed as needed
• Filter backwashed as needed
• Leak baskets cleaned
• Pump baskets cleaned
• Pool equipment operation inspected
• Pool walls, floor, and tile to be brushed
• Remove debris
